Remote is a work arrangement, not a promise that applicants from every country qualify. A US remote vacancy may require the applicant to live in one American state. A UK hybrid role may require an office visit. Another role may accept applicants across Africa. The source advertisement should make those conditions clear.
Before applying, ask five questions. Where must I live? Can the company hire in my country? Which time zone does the team work in? Is the pay quoted hourly or monthly, and in what currency? Does the application go to an employer-owned site, an agency or a public email address?
Build a CV that shows remote-work habits through real examples: communicating progress, documenting decisions, organising work and delivering work without close supervision. For technical roles, share published code or projects you contributed to. For support and operations roles, show how you helped customers or kept a process on track.
AnonYx country pages and direct-email listings show source information. Start at https://anonyx.com.ng/jobs-in/NG or https://anonyx.com.ng/direct-apply. We label uncertain locations rather than assume a position is open worldwide.
