Position: Product Designer (UI/UX)

Job Position: Product Designer (UI/UX) Location: Lagos, Nigeria (Hybrid). Remote candidates within Nigeria are encouraged to apply. Reports To: Head of Technology Development & Innovation Industry: Technology Consulting firm About the Role Design intuitive, accessible, and user-centered experiences for web and mobile applications across payment, remittance, POS, and eCommerce platforms. Key Responsibilities - Lead UX research, user journey mapping, wireframing, prototyping, and UI design. - Design end-to-end user experiences for onboarding, payments, wallets, checkout, and reporting. - Build and maintain a scalable design system and component library in Figma. - Conduct usability testing and improve designs based on user feedback and insights. - Design accessible and responsive interfaces for web and mobile platforms. - Collaborate with product managers, developers, and stakeholders throughout the product lifecycle. - Create interactive prototypes and detailed design specifications for development. - Maintain design documentation and support implementation with engineering teams. Required Skills & Experience - Professional experience in Product Design, UI/UX Design, or a related role. - Strong portfolio demonstrating user-centered design across web and mobile products. - Proficiency in Figma, including components, auto layout, prototyping, and design systems. - Strong understanding of interaction design, information architecture, and usability principles. - Experience designing responsive and mobile-first user interfaces. - Experience conducting user research and usability testing. - Knowledge of accessibility standards and inclusive design practices. - Strong collaboration, communication, and problem-solving skills. - Experience designing payment, checkout, wallet, POS, or dashboard interfaces. - Experience building and maintaining design systems. - Familiarity with data visualization and reporting interfaces. - Basic understanding of frontend technologies such as HTML, CSS, or React.
