HIRING Full-Stack Software Engineer & Data Automation Developer | Back End Office HQ 📍 Location: Nigeria (Fully Remote) Job Type: Full-time Compensation: ₦336,531 per month About the Role Back End Office HQ is seeking a Full-Stack Software Engineer and Data Automation Developer to build and maintain web applications, develop reliable data-scraping pipelines, automate data processing, and support production systems. Key Responsibilities • Develop and maintain front-end applications using React or similar JavaScript/TypeScript frameworks. • Build backend services and REST APIs using Python, Django, or FastAPI. • Develop and maintain web scrapers using tools such as BeautifulSoup, Scrapy, Playwright, or Selenium. • Design adaptable scraping pipelines and clean, structure, and store extracted data. • Manage relational databases such as PostgreSQL and use NoSQL where necessary. • Deploy and manage applications using Docker and AWS or GCP. • Integrate third-party services and monitor production systems for bugs, performance, and uptime. Requirements • Bachelor’s degree • Demonstrated practical experience in full-stack development; no minimum years of experience required. • Proficiency in a modern front-end framework and Python backend development. • Hands-on web scraping and data automation experience. • Knowledge of databases, Docker, cloud platforms, REST APIs, and third-party integrations. • Ability to work independently in a remote-first environment. • Excellent written communication skills. Added Advantages • Responsible anti-bot and anti-scraping techniques within legal limits. • DevOps or infrastructure-as-code experience. • Open-source contributions or a strong GitHub portfolio. • Experience in a startup or fast-paced environment.
